November Card for Debbi

After catching up with my October card I came down with the bug that seems to be getting everyone at the moment but I needed to make Debbi's card for November, I wanted to use a background fabric I had made a while ago but then I was stumped what to do next as the picture wasn't giving me much inspiration , but then I found a little tulip stencil and decided to apply molding paste through the stencil, once dry I stitched into it with metallic thread but wasn't very happy with it, so I added gilding cream over the stitching.

While I was working on something else I had some paint and polyfilla mix spare so painted a piece of pelmet vilene and started to splatter inks, moonglow spray, and powders over the surface I really liked what was happening and thought it may make a nice postcard.
I pulled out some double sided metal letters I have had tucked away for ages and started pushing them into the wet paint being careful to make sure I had the upper and lower case the right way up.
I really loved the finished effect and then today I scanned it, and the first thing that jumped out at me was the i and the e are the wrong way round aaaghh
Why do I never spot these things while the paint is still wet and I could do something about it.
I just shouldn't try and be creative when I have the lurgy, I thought I would show it you anyway as I love the background.

Fleeting Moments

I have a canvas on my painting table waiting for its next stage, I had used pollyfilla to coat the surface but as it was a ready mixed batch it had gone lumpy, I over painted the surface with Burnt Umber but knew it needed something else, so this morning while working on something else I picked up some painted tissue paper and started gluing it to the canvas, the first tissue was painted a mustard colour and once I finished there was some white tissue showing, so I sprayed it with purple Adirondack colour wash spray. it instantly had an amazing reaction, so I ran for the camera as I knew once it started to dry the colours would be nothing like they were in this moment,
later on in the day I decided to do the second half and put magenta painted tissue and turquoise colour wash spray, this had the same reaction and the results are below,
Unfortunately it is drying to a dull dark tone

Canvas Heart

A while ago I painted some of the Moonshadow Starburst Stains onto a canvas and covered with cling film, this canvas has been sitting around waiting for something to complete it, yesterday I decided I would stitch one of my hearts onto aluminium shim, I gave it a border on soluble and mounted it onto the little canvas, This was a nightmare to capture the colours in the picture,
Below is a corner of the canvas in its original state.

this is the black orchid /silver starburst stain, just straight on a canvas, so it looked a little flat, painted it on and covered with cling film, the other piece is a crumpled paper,
