Postcards

Well, another old sample turned into postcards, have enough for another two from this piece I think,
This one was machine stitched onto silk, then painted using silk paints. The fabric was put onto a wadding before stitching, this creates the texture.
I can't tell you how great it feels working through my stash of samples at long last,
and postcards are just a perfect way of using them.

Like the way you've put these colours together. I'm useless with colour. And I still can't get the edges of my postcards quite right. But hey, I'm still having a good time!

Carol these are really special. They would go lovely in a frame! The color combo is beautiful. It reminds me of an illustration. I also like you use used the fushia in a minimal way to highlight the turquoise and purples.
