Oooaaahhh

That's what this piece of fabric makes me do every time I pick it up and turn it to the light, the turquoise foil glows, I used Golden's fluid acrylics watered down instead of ink, as I didn't have the rust colour in the ink.
I made the base fabric in the same way as I made the base for the hearts. have a look here Fusible Vilene for a free tutorial.
By changing the colour of the foil and inks you can change the look of this fabric so easily, I have made another piece with gold foil and red ink, and if I can get a good picture I will load it later. I am going to make another with silver foil and purple ink.

Fabulous surface. The acrylics look like they are sitting on the top - just like rust. Can't wait to see what you do with this piece.

LUSH - I am doing rust at the mo was for my project at the mo. I wondered you know this a fusible vilene tutorial but would it work if you bandawebbed the vilene, or do you need to by the fusable vilene???

Wow, Carol, you have been making some really luscious fabric lately, and I'm sure having fun, too.
