Silver layer

I thought I would do a quick update on the torso, as I was waiting for things on another project to dry I decided to start the next layer, I used a silver acrylic, heavier at the bottom, then a dry brush effect nearer the top, as you can see, she has acquired a little friend, this paper-mache torso, has been sitting on the shelf along with a few other things waiting to be transformed.
Click on the picture to get a larger image, you can see the texture much better.

Hi!
Thanks for your comments on my blog recently. I am very much enjoying the transformation of the torso and will also look forward to seeing how the smaller one develops as well...but did I miss something? Weren't you waiting on a very, very important birthday...like a first grandchild?

This is really looking good Carol. I love the small one, it looks like metal, but I really love the larger one. When you enlarge the photo you can really see the detail. Would love to see this in person. What else are you going to do to 'her'?

this is coming along nicely Carol. I wonder if you'll make the two of them look similar or will it be a study in contrast?
