Print Class

I have been trying to catch up with my work for an online Printmaking class run by Kristi, a few of us on the Surfacing group are taking it. I fell behind as I was not well, and have been trying to catch up, My first efforts of Monoprinting are here at my Picture Trail, not very good, but gave me a few ideas, the next lesson was Linocuts,Woodcut and Block Printing, I have made a start, with a positive block and a negative, my hands won't stand up to much of this,I found trying to carve with the lino tools difficult, trying one out at the moment by cutting right through the block and leaving the positive shape, half done, will finish it tomorrow.

I enjoyed all your descriptions on your Pic Trail. That net print really is a happy accident. Liked the second print from the red one and the one on black paper. Hope you are better?

great set of pictures Carol, thanks for sharing all of those. That net one is pretty cool and I like that subtractive one too. I like the last one too, great colors in that one I think.
