The last couple of weeks I have been very lazy with a poorly ankle, so not much done apart from catching up with video's, but all my goodies arrived safe very good service from all concerned.
This weekend I started to clear those horrible jobs that niggle at you so you can't have a good creative session without feeling guilty.
I did all the hems, tears and alterations that have built up, also chopped the sleeves off two blouses for my Mum, horrible pleated chiffon, they turned out ok but, never again.
I also had a few jobs for the class I take to finish of their projects
so I put the backing on two rugs, lined and sewed together a spectacle case, put fins on a plastic canvas rocket (don't ask) cut the cone ready for the top, framed a small weaving and framed a picture.
This has resulted in a huge empty drawer and me raring to go on my own project.
I have ironed my pattern onto freezer paper to make it more stable, and cut out the jacket ready.
Working tomorrow so will make a start later in the week.

Love the idea of ironing pattern to freezer paper - you are so clever.
