A while ago I painted some of the Moonshadow Starburst Stains onto a canvas and covered with cling film, this canvas has been sitting around waiting for something to complete it, yesterday I decided I would stitch one of my hearts onto aluminium shim, I gave it a border on soluble and mounted it onto the little canvas, This was a nightmare to capture the colours in the picture,
Below is a corner of the canvas in its original state.
this is the black orchid /silver starburst stain, just straight on a canvas, so it looked a little flat, painted it on and covered with cling film, the other piece is a crumpled paper,

Love the aluminium, the colours are wonderful despite being hard to photograph. I really like this piece, and i am sure others will too.
This is fabulous. The heart looks like it is padded and the background looks like marble. I know how hard these reflective surfaces are to photograph. Want to see more hearts please.
