Torso

Well, I think its finished, since the last pictures of the gold layer, it has been wine coloured, copper coloured, then a wash of interference in a lilac shade,
with each coat of paint it got worse, so I went back to silver,I left it alone all week, and last night looked at the dyes ready mixed on my desk and found a red, now I wanted a deep wine colour and this was bright red, but I thought I would try it any way, and it sunk into the silver a really nice shade, this morning it has had a quick rub over with copper and silver gilding cream, and I am now trying to leave it be, the light is so bad here this morning I can't get a good shot to show the gilding colours properly, but I need to stop so I thought I would show you all, before I do anything else to it.
I will do a better picture soon, but I am now off to sit on my hands :)

Yes, thats more like it. Definitely finished I should think. Looks wonderful. I must admit to being a tad worried when you decided to start painting her but she really does look better than ever now. Well done.

If what we can see in the closeup picture is what she looks like all over, she must look fabulous! What a difference to when you first decided to give her a makeover. Well worth all that effort Carol. Val
