Stitched Brown Paper Vessell

Well, I couldn't resist it, I decided to paint up some more brown paper, on both sides, purple one side and a dark blue on the other, I glued the sample to the new paper on the dark blue side, and then tore around the edge so it matched the sample size as near as possible, any that does show the same colour to the main paper so blends in.
I then painted inside the rim of a Rolo tube, (candy) the same purple as the back of the paper,so the paper showing on the inside is the purple.
Then I glued the paper around the tube, it worked out a perfect fit just overlapping by about a quarter inch, It's about 8" high and just big enough to hold bits and pieces on my desk

This looks so good, even better than it did as a sampler. DO NOT use it just for bits and pieces on your desk - far too good!
