I have been enjoying all the stitch samples from the people participating in Take A Stitch Tuesday on Sharon B's blog, and decided to join the gang, I started with blanket stitch but I was too late to post it last week, so I have added my detached chain to the same piece.
It s nice to explore the old stitches and hand stitch again, I have not done any for a while, This has also given me an idea for a canvas I have in mind.
The stitching is done on brown paper and painted bondaweb, nice to use it up its only been hanging around about 5 years :)

Love the colours Carol. Hard to believe its just your humble old brown wrapping paper! Couple of questions - which paints did you use and do you paint your paper as well as your bondaweb?
I can't believe its brown paper, I had to look at it up close, your stiches are very good.. I just finished a piece and my stitches are all uneven..
It seems as if I am the only one not doing TAST!
