I am involved in a Round Robin on one of my internet groups, this is a yard of silk that I have just posted to the USA, it will then go to Cyprus and Scotland, then back to me, I tried out the microwave dyes for the first time, I wasn't too impressed maybe I am too impatient and did not let them sit long enough, but I had to keep reapplying the dyes as it was just not spreading through the silk, even though it was damp.
I then had to be careful not to add too much, in case it went muddy
I also made a small journal to go with the fabric on its travels.I look forward to seeing the end result.

I love those colours - I hope it doesnt get overdyed too much? What are the plans foor this piece?
