Not much Progress

Well, not much to show, I seem to have been machining all week, getting nowhere,I am trying to think why I wanted to do this?
In between the sewing I have cut out another two jackets, I told myself when I cleared my room that if I had not used most of my stash of dressmaking fabrics in
6 months then they were going to a good home.(you understand this does not mean any of the many tubs of other fabrics that may come in useful)
One of the jackets is a short kimono jacket from Lois Ericson's Design and Sew range, I am ashamed to say I have had this pattern 7 years and not used it yet.
I am going to try it out on some commercial fabric that I overdyed a while ago, so no great loss if it doesn't work.
And now back to the machine, determined to finish Madam, this week.

My granny would tell you that there's a Scots proverb, keep a thing for seven years, and you will find a use for it. Clearly that was true of your kimono pattern...happy sewing!

The Kimini Pattern looks quite easy to make....will you be lining it? Can imagine a beautiful fine Shibori print as a lining. Have you a photo of the fabric you plan to use for the outside??
